Port drayage is the short truck move that takes an ocean container from a port terminal to a warehouse, distribution center or rail yard, or brings an export container back to the port. Texas Freight Co. handles both imports and exports.
Where
Texas Freight Co. serves three Gulf Coast ports: Port Houston, the Port of Galveston and Port Freeport. At Port Houston, containers are handled at the Barbours Cut and Bayport terminals.
Equipment
Chassis for 20ft and 40ft ISO containers are provided on every move, so you do not need to source your own.
What to send for a quote
Send the container number, the bill of lading or booking number, the terminal, the container size and type, the gross weight, the last free day, the delivery address and the receiver's appointment window. Note any hazardous or overweight cargo when you book, because it changes the equipment and the permits needed.
